Our cruise guests are very special to us. They arrive like magic in our harbour and we have only a short time to indulge them in the city.We have three packages to suit the timetables and tastes of our cruise guests.
Option 1 - Super City Sights hosted by Jennifer Looman
Take in the key attractions of Wellington's downtown centre, including a personal introduction to Te Papa, our national museum.
This is a walking tour but also includes transport by local bus and the iconic Wellington Cable Car.
Departs 10.30am from the Wellington Visitor Information Centre (corner Victoria and Wakefield Streets) on cruise ship days and concludes at Te Papa museum at 1.15pm.
Includes a great Wellington roasted coffee.
The cost is $85pp (New Zealand dollar) all inclusive, minimum 2 guests. Bookings essential to guarantee your place. Only 8 guests per tour maximum.

Option 2 - Wellington - The Full Day Luxury Experience
We are very proud of offering a luxurious day in and around the city in a chauffeured vehicle, taking in the sights and enjoying a bistro lunch at a top waterfront restaurant. This is our luxury tour for groups of 6 or more and we customise the itinerary to ensure expectations are fulfilled.
Guests can expect individual attention while enjoying the best and most unique sights in the city, a coastal drive, Parliament buildings, an introduction to Wellywood (Wellington is New Zealand's Hollywood), panoramic views, a ride on the Cable Car, an introduction to Te Papa our national museum and concludes with a 45 minute wine tasting of top quality New Zealand small vineyard wines; as an example itinerary. Oh, and don't forget the bistro luncheon in the middle!
We take into account personal preferences and guests have the advantage of Jennifer hosting the group alongside a professional driver who acts as a second host during the tour. Charm and attention to detail are the hallmarks of this enticing tour. One guest said of their experience with us:

Option 3 - A Day at a Luxury Rural Retreat
We all like to have something extraordinary up our sleeves, and we have just that. For guests wanting to see a very unique aspect of Wellington, then we offer a day at a luxury rural retreat only 30 minutes out of the city.
The retreat is a luxury accommodation for those wanting to stay at the villa, but for cruise guests the experience starts by being met shipside by your host and villa owner who will drive you to the villa located in a sumptuous rural setting, while giving you a commentary on the sights along the way.
At the villa you will be welcomed with a cocktail and the first thing you will enjoy is the stunning view below.
Your hosts have travelled and lived worldwide. Their vision was to create a private luxurious retreat for those who love a beautiful and natural environment.
At the villa you are able to partake in activities such as archery, clay pigeon shooting or take a short drive to the villa's privately owned boat sheds. Alternatively guests may just prefer to sit and savour the view while enjoying a top New Zealand wine and an antipasto platter accompanied by homemade bread. A lap pool and home theatre are available for your use if desired.
Lunch could be a 3 course stunning event in the main dining room overlooking the view above, or perhaps a gourmet picnic served for your by your host beside the pond on the property or at the boat sheds. The option is yours.
You will be treated as an exclusive VIP at a simply stunning, unique location. A minimum of 2 guests is required for this event and the day will run to a timetable to suit your arrival and departure to the port of Wellington. The cost is $300pp based on a typical itinerary as described above.
